Pitstop for the Birds is revolutionizing transportation infrastructure by designing electric vehicle charging stations that cater not only to traveling humans but also to migrating birds. We transform these stations into vital ecological waypoints, providing essential stop-over habitats for birds while serving as convenient recharge points for drivers.
We connect teachers and students with sites and sponsors to create and sustain Pitstops in their communities.
Students
Students work with their teachers and experts to promote, design, build, and sustain Pitstops in their communities. In the process they develop their abilities to solve problems collaboratively and creatively, while also learning their course content. Learn more about the student experience.
